Hawaii Closes Its Borders Amongst Coronavirus Scare

Hawaii Closes its Borders! Locals, U.S. Citizens and Foreigners all required "14 day Quarantine" Upon Entering!

For all intents and purposes, Hawaii just became the first State in the Nation to close its borders to all. Doesn't matter if you live here, if you are a US Citizen or a foreigner visiting, Anyone wanting to come in, will be required to do a 14 day Quarantine, and since most visitors only stay for 10-14 days, Hawaii has effectively closed our borders. Details are unfolding as I type this, but it scheduled to begin this coming Thursday at 12:01am. Locals are taking this virus seriously and put pressure on the government to shut down completely, you may wonder why, but just look back at Hawaii's history and when Captain Cook brought in simple viruses and disease that almost wiped out the Hawaiian Nation, fstforward to the leper colony, rapid Ohia death and so much more. This time they are not waiting. Although this is not a complete shutdown, it may as well be. Hawaii is one of the few states that can geographically accomplish this. If you have a vacation or business planned here, you may want to re-think that idea. This also shuts down residents from leaving, unless they are prepared to be under quarantine when returning to Hawaii. We will keep you updated as details are released

I think it's a good idea, however the whole flattening of the curve narrative seems to be changing now that we know it's not going to overwhelm the hospitals.

The phrase you are attempting to use at the beginning of this article is “for all intents and purposes,”. Hate to be a grammar snob but the article will read much better with this correction. Mahalo.
