Kailua Kona, Hawaii:  Median Price Is At Its Highest Level, YTD, On Existing Home Sales Since 2006!  

Mainland Sales Also Reach Their Highest Mark Since 2007 [INFOGRAPHIC]

Let’s take a look back on some previous years, actually let’s look at our best year - 2006, this was Kailua Kona's  highest point with median home prices at $635,000.  

Looking at today's numbers I was quite surprised to see them at $629,000, just $6,000 away from being at an all-time high. That typically means Condos will be soon to follow. Give us a call and set up a time to go over what these numbers mean to you.

Existing Home Sales Reach Highest Mark Since 2007 [INFOGRAPHIC] | Simplifying The Market



  • Sales of existing homes reached the highest pace in a decade at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.69 million.
  • January marked the 59th consecutive month of year-over-year price gains as the median home price rose 7.1% to $228,900.
  • NAR’s Chief Economist, Lawrence Yun had this to say, “Much of the country saw robust sales activity last month as strong hiring and improved consumer confidence at the end of last year appear to have sparked considerable interest in buying a home."
